Yaqeen Journal for Legal Studies is committed to preserving published scientific content and ensuring its long-term accessibility through multiple digital archiving strategies.

Self-Archiving

The journal uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which provides self-archiving for all published issues and articles on the University of Duhok servers, with periodic backups to ensure data integrity.

Archiving in International Databases

Journal content is archived in the following scientific databases and indexes:

  • CrossRef – through DOI registration for all articles
  • Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
  • Google Scholar

Long-Term Preservation Policy

The journal ensures permanent preservation of scientific content through:

  • Regular backups on multiple servers
  • Use of standard file formats (PDF/A) for long-term preservation
  • Adherence to international metadata standards (Dublin Core, MARC)
  • Provision of APIs for metadata harvesting

Access Rights
