Journal Peer Review Procedures
The journal receives scientific research in Arabic, English, and Kurdish, and is published semi-annually with two issues per year according to a regular publication schedule. The journal strictly adheres to internationally recognized publication ethics and academic integrity policies. All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening prior to publication using globally recognized plagiarism detection systems such as CrossCheck (iThenticate) and Turnitin. Manuscripts with an overall similarity index exceeding 20% are not accepted, excluding reference lists, legal texts, and properly documented quotations. This policy aligns with standards of scientific originality and the requirements of international databases. Yaqeen Journal of Legal Studies is a member of CrossRef and CrossRef services, including CrossCheck. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism, including plagiarism from previously published texts or results, as well as self-plagiarism, which refers to the repetition of substantial portions of authors’ previously published work without proper citation. Plagiarism in any form is not permitted and is handled in accordance with the journal’s strict academic integrity policies.
Publication Fees
All manuscripts are submitted and managed exclusively online through the Open Journal Systems (OJS), which allows transparent and efficient tracking of the review, revision, acceptance, and publication stages, while ensuring confidentiality and protecting authors’ intellectual property rights.
Conflict of Interest Statement
All authors must include a declaration of no conflict of interest on the title page of the manuscript. This statement is subject to review by the editorial board and will be published within the article. Conflicts of interest refer to matters that could be perceived as exerting undue influence on the content of the research or its publication. These include, but are not limited to, financial, professional, contractual, or personal relationships that may affect the credibility of the study.
